Why Unicorva exists

We've never been more connected.
Or more disconnected.

Everyone in the car, on the plane, on the ship and on the train is looking down. The world rolls past and nobody says a word. That's the direction we're moving — and we don't like it.

“No way!”

We wanted to make something families talk about in real life — out loud, to each other. A short, true story about where you are, told so everyone hears it. Someone looks up. Someone asks a question. The journey becomes the story.

Filled with truth.

Every story is backed by our sources, and if we can't verify it we stay silent. And it isn't just geography. Battles and history. The people who were born here. The company that started in that garage. The strange, wonderful thing that happened on this corner. Anything interesting — as long as it's true.

It started as RoadStory.
The road was just the beginning.

Roads became flights, and flights became cruise ships and trains, once it was clear the same idea works anywhere people travel. Unicorva is that engine with a new name: one company, every way people travel, personal and commercial.

“Good products for good people. Built on truth and family.”Unicorva

Verify,
or stay silent.

Anyone can tell a story. We only tell the true ones — and show our sources on every card.

01

Every fact is sourced.

Backed by our sources before it's ever spoken.

02

A missing story beats a false one.

Can't verify it? The pin never drops. We'd rather be silent than wrong.

03

Family-friendly, always.

Every story is one you'd share with the whole family.

04

Real photos or none.

The exact place, never stock, never generated.

Golden Gate Bridge

When it opened in 1937 it was the longest suspension bridge in the world — and its colour, “International Orange,” was chosen so ships could see it in the fog.

Why it matters in the air

The ocean
has stories too.

71% of the planet is water. On an ocean crossing that's most of the flight — and it's exactly where seat-back maps go blank. We fill it.

0airlines narrate stories in flight today
71%of the Earth is ocean, the part others leave empty

A voice

Seat-back maps show labels. We tell the story out loud.

The truth

Every fact checked and sourced. Silent if it can't be.

Jonah spent his Navy career as a special operations bomb technician, where he learned first-hand what happens when people are forced to make do with tools that weren't built for the job. Since leaving the military he has co-founded two companies — a drone-based 3D mapping business for construction sites and quarries that cut survey time by more than 60%, and a SaaS platform for the outdoor industry, where as Chief Product Officer he designed the workflows and interfaces that saved guides and outfitters time and grew their revenue.

He builds Unicorva as a husband and a “girl dad” twice over, and as a lifelong waterman. He's always been drawn to creative problem-solving and to helping teams and people operate better.
